Your first CaptureGem recording

1. Install CaptureGem. It’s free to download and use, and you don’t need an account.
2. On the Record tab, paste the model’s room link into Enter URL or Username, or choose the site under Select Website and type the username. Leave Monitor Only off and click Add Stream. Confirm the app detects the model correctly.
3. Start recording a known-live model. The free version saves up to 5 minutes per recording and only records a model who is live when you add or start them. For future saved videos, Premium lets you set the model’s mode to Record Always or Record With Expiry with Modify Auto Record. Monitor Always watches activity but does not save a finished video.
4. Let the session finish and wait for any finalization shown by the app. Open the result in Review and play the finished file.
5. Check that the duration and picture match the session, and that audio is present if the source supplied it. Keep temporary source files if the app reports an error.

Recording quality follows the available source. There is no microphone input, FPS slider, or hardware encoder switch to set for this flow. See settings and file locations.
